Our Story

Ardamine Farms

Welcome to Ardamine Farms, where family, tradition, and sustainable farming have been at the heart of what we do since 1942. Nestled in the rural community of Dorie on the Canterbury Plains, our farm has been in the family for three generations, and we’re proud to continue looking after this land, just as our grandparents did. Dorie, with its lush fields and scenic views, has been the perfect place for our family to grow and raise our livestock. There’s something special about working the land here—it just feels like home.

Today, Ardamine Farms is proudly managed by David, with the support of his mother Julie, his wife Bridget, and his sisters Lizzy and Candace. Together, we’re carrying on the family legacy with the same dedication and care that’s been in our blood for over 80 years. Every cut of lamb we send out reflects our commitment to quality and the values that have always been central to our way of life.

For us, farming is personal. It’s our past, our present, and our future. We know how important it is to take care of the land, which is why we focus on sustainable farming practices. We’re also doing our bit for the environment by using eco-friendly packaging, ensuring we’re leaving the paddock in good shape for the next generation.

From our paddock to your table, every bite of our lamb tells a story of family, hard work, and respect for the land. So whether you’re a fellow farmer or just someone who appreciates quality, we invite you to enjoy a taste of Ardamine’s heritage, one bite at a time.
